ITINERARY

DAY 1 - Arrive Ahmedabad

Upon arrival meet and transfer to Hotel. Overnight at hotel

DAY 2 - Ahmedabad

Visit the famous Sabarma Ashram, set up by Gandhi in 1915 during the Indian independence movement. Enjoy the view from the Bhadra Fort and Teen Darwaja (Triple Gateway) and learn about the Jain way of life at the Hathi Singh Temple. Admire the 15th‐century Jama Masjid and the medieval minarets of the graceful Rani Sipri’s Mosque. A visit to the Calico Museum of Texles with prior booking, the Shreyas Folk Museum or the Kite Museum can also be part of the visit. Overnight at hotel

DAY 3 - Ahmedabad - Sasan Gir ( 375 kms / 7 hrs Approx.)

Depart early for your journey to to Sasan Gir . It’s a long but pleasant journey, with scenery of green fields and quaint villages along the way. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 4 - Sasan Gir

Sasan Gir, popularly known as Gir, the most famous loin sanctuary in India. Sasan Gir on the southwestern border of Saurashtra peninsula in Gujarat and is home to nearly 400 Asiac loins. Take a jeep safari to the park to see Asiac loins and also other species like chital, Chinkara (Gazelle) four horned antelope. Leopard, Nilgai, spoed deer, wild boar, wild ass, monkeys, parrots and peacocks, many others birds etc. Overnight at hotel

DAY 5 - Sasangir – Dwarka ( 249 kms / 5 hrs Approx.)

Morning drive to Dwarka . The small coastal town is one of the four most holy Hindu pilgrimage sites in India. It is here that Lord Krishna founded his capital aer leaving Mathura. Visit the Dwarkadhish Temple, one of the holiest Hindu pilgrimage sights in the country. Also have some me to relax on the idyllic beaches of Okhamadhi or Shivrapur. Overnight at hotel

DAY 6 - Dwarka Jamnagar ( 128 kms / 2.5 hrs Approx.)

Drive to Jamnagar in the morning. Jamnagar is famous for its colourful e‐dyed cloth, produced using a process dang back over 500 years. The city’s bazaars are a great place to pick up something special. If you have the chance, visit Gujarat Ayurved University, the world’s first instuon to teach tradional medicine, yoga and naturopathy according to ayurvedic principles. Walk the streets of the old city and discover Jain temples, colonial buildings and markets. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 7 - Jamnagar – Bhuj ( 258 kms / 4.5 hrs Approx)

Morning drive to Bhujenroute pass by the old walled citadel of Darbargadh which is sll being restored aer an earthquake in 2001. Peek into the former royal residences of the 17th and 19th centuries, the highlight being the Aina Mahal (Old Palace). Overnight at hotel.

DAY 8 - Bhuj

In the morning, visit the Kutch Museum to inspect ancient tribal artefacts and the world’s largest collecon of Kshatrapa inscripons. Meet some of the local communies on a day tour out of Bhuj to the Banni grasslands. Depending on the season, one may get the chance to visit Jat, Ahir, Harijan or Rabari villages, which all have strong arsan and handicra tradions. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 9 - Bhuj – Dasada (276 kms / 5 hrs Approx.)

Morning a journey into the desert landscape of Lile Rann. This is where the world’s last remaining populaon of wild donkeys can be seen. Travel by jeep safari into the Wild Ass Sanctuary to observe them in their natural habitat , also keep an eye out for gazelle, wolves and jackals. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 10 - Dasada – Udaipur( 341kms / 6 hrs Approx)

Morning drive to Udaipur. On arrival, take an orientaon walk. Your me is then free to explore this stunning city as you please. Located by Lake Pichola, the town is lauded as one of the most romanc spots in India, with palaces, colourful bazaars, narrow alleys and beauful gardens to discover. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 11 - Udaipur

Morning visit the City palace, Crystal Gallery and a famous Hindu temple. Take a boat ride out across Lake Pichola (depending on the season and the water level), a great way to see the marvellous island palaces off Jag Nivas and Jag Mandir. In the evening, perhaps enjoy a tradional concert that combines seven tradional Rajasthani folk dances. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 12 - Udaipur – Mumbai by flight

Take a flight to Mumbai , is the largest city and undoubtedly the commercial capital of India.. Travel to Indore airport to board flight to Mumbai. Arrive Mumbai which is the largest city and undoubtedly the commercial capital of India. Aernoon city tour vising the Gateway of India-built during the period 1924-1927 to commemorate the visit to India of King George V, of England in 1911. Visit the prince of Wales Museum – the Victorian domed structure contains a fine collecon of miniature painngs. Its three secons are on Art, Archaeology and Natural history. Visit the 8-meter Rajabai Clock tower – the gothic style Mumbai University clock tower built in the last century. The Victoria terminus is considered the most beauful edifice in the city. Drive past Nariman point to Malabar Hill which is a winding stretch of road along the sea with tall buildings on one side. Overnight at hotel.
